Exhibition

A side event of the conference will be the inauguration of an exhibition on Ukrainian mathematics in the main hall of the Henri Poincaré Institute, funded by our conference. The exhibition will remain on display at the Institute for several weeks. Subsequently, the panels may be borrowed by universities across Europe upon request.

Mathematics in Ukraine: continuing traditions

The exhibition aims to present information about mathematicians, mathematical schools, and significant mathematical results that are historically and/or geographically connected to Ukraine: from Ostrogradsky (divergence theorem, 1826) to Maryna Vyazovska (sphere-packing problem in dimension 8; Fields medal, 2022).
